I have been real critical of Cousins. This is how I view it....the Redskins didn't defeat a team with a winning records last year. We did win the NFC East only because it wasn't a competitive division. Cousins didn't play that great against teams with great defenses. Nor has he ever. I was pleased with the great improvement I saw from him...but I'm not sold on Kirk Cousins just yet.
Scot Mccloughan shouldn't sign him to a long term deal just yet. The Redskins should use the franchise tag on Cousins and see what he does in 2016....the challenge will be far stiffer with a 1st place schedule....
