"Legal Tampering" starts today. Illegal tampering has been underway for some time now but today is when we start to hear more facts and rumors connecting UFA's and the teams who are trying to sign them. BTW, isn't "legal tampering" an oxymoron like "jumbo shrimp"?

Team will not be allowed to sign players until 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 9th. You can count on hearing news of some signings at 4:01 P.M. that day.

Will the Redskins be active early on in FA? Probably not but I wouldn't be shocked if they were. I say that because I think it might make sense for the Skins to try to sign just a couple of good young FA's this time around. Perhaps a safety and a NT.
