Re: NFL Free Agency 2016
We'll all get to see how good they are soon enough.
30gut, do you think RGIII will do better in Cleveland with lesser talent around him than he did here?

The ole downward spiral. Such a shame. Cannot imagine it will reverse tracks ever again but especially not in Cleveland. Understand why Griff would go there, its one of the only places I can imagine he will get a chance to prove himself again. |

I hope you are rite 30-gut. I hope he gets a chance and is the second best qb in the league behind captain kirk. I really do. To me he just failed the eye test miserably his last few chances. I personally never had a problem with his attitude. Do not understand why he is called a diva. Whatever though. Only thing that matters is can he play quarterback. He isnt my family member or friend so i dont care about the rest. Only time will tell. Personally i dont think he ever becomes a good qb in any system on any team again. That is based solely on what i saw on the field. |

Re: NFL Free Agency 2016
I want to agree with what you post, but you include some bizarre and to me quite obviously inaccurate statements. Failed the eye test last few chances? Like the Eagles win? Its strange to me how Griffin has come to be defined by the worst games of his career rather then his play during the majority of his.
Anyhow can we finally move on from Griffin. We just signed Greg Toler who grades out poor by PFF’S ranking which means DY should consider him one of the best CBs in the league! |

When I say last few times out I mean as a whole. Yes that Eagles game was nice but that was a true team effort. Griff wasnt exactly setting the world on fire. I also cannot wipe that Lions preseason game from my memory. It was just God Awful. Preseason or not. Anyhoot yes we can move on and I really do hope he becomes the SECOND BEST quarterback in the league. Though i doubt it. Edit: but because I have a bad habit of not being able to let things go.... 16-23 223 yards 9.6 avg. probably high due to rac. 1 int. 0 td's. 2 sacks. Yeah that eagles game. That eye test. I may have been at a great Christmas party n thrilled to be ruining the eagles season - aka in all my Redskins glory (probably the highlight of that miserable season) but it did not cloud my ability to assess what I was seeing from my still hopefully future qb at the time. It wasnt a great game by any means. Last edited by punch it in; 04-13-2016 at 11:18 PM. |

Re: NFL Free Agency 2016
Comparing RGIII and Manziel is kinda retarded. RGIII has a rookie of the year trophy and a division title under his belt. Manziel hasn't done jack shit and he doesn't even have a job right now.

Im not comparing their careers. Obviously Griffs rookie season is far and away better than anything Manziel has ever done. Im comparing only their last group of starts. |

NFL Free Agency 2016
Manziel obviously needs off the field help. Griff is the more stable of the two by a country mile. That is why one is employed and the other is not. They are both young and were promising at one point. Im simply saying that as far as play goes I would take a look at manziel first. Him doing what he did on a worse team is greater than griff doing what he did in 2014 on the skins imo.
Edit: again though i wish griff the best and am glad neither of them is going to be my starting qb this year! |

Either way it's a useless argument. Manziel has probably partied his way out of the league at this point. Nobody is going to touch him until he gets straight. |

And he probably wont. Total tool. Think about how much more champagne he could have had if he just kept his head on straight for a few years! |
