Why is a player wanting to get a good open market deal in the NFL such a pariah? NFL teams are always looking to get the best player for the least amount of committed money. And NFL teams always back out of their contracts for money reasons. I just don't get that mindset.

Anyway, I don't know if the Redskins should go after Norman. I mean, we are in a division with elite WRs like Dez and OBJ. I think a Norman/Breeland CB tandem would be ridiculous and it'd make a huge difference. We already should have a very good pass rush with Kerrigan, Galette, and Preston Smith. I think our defense would improve by leaps and bounds with Norman.

That said, I trust what Scot will do in the end. If we don't get him, it wouldn't be the end of the world.
