They are also motivated, even though they are getting more money. The Carolina/Norman story is pretty interesting. If he is anywhere close to what he was last season, this is a good signing.

The more I read into this story, the more it seems that the Panthers overreacted to the negotiations and decided to part ways from Norman due to that overreaction. I also have this suspicious feeling that Jerry Richardson may have been the one that overreacted.
