Book it, it will be in Virginia

"I think we are the best place for the team," McAuliffe said on Thursday. "Every player lives in Virginia. Dan Snyder lives in Virginia. Sixty-six percent of the season-ticket holders are Virginians, so it makes sense - if we can structure a deal that makes sense for us, the taxpayers, and is good for the Redskins - then that's a win-win situation. We are the ideal place."

Is that true? 10 years ago I would not have believed this but now, with the way NoVa has continued to develop, I believe it.

As a born and raised MD person, I would have a hard time accepting the fact that both redskins training facility and stadium would be in Va. The team would have zero connection to MD and MD fans would have to drive a lot farther in horrible traffic to get there.

You would be gifting frederick and howard county to the ravens. I imagine fans in montgomery county could go down 95 and fans in laurel/bowie could use the woodrow wilson bridge.

If this becomes a reality .... i dont know. How can I as a proud maryland person root for a virginia team?
