Re: Brown Frown Pregame Thread
Redskins coach Jay Gruden said he's "very concerned" about rookie receiver Josh Doctson. He will take it easy again this week because of his Achilles. Gruden said tests haven't shown any further damage. Gruden said it's about dealing with pain management.
what a disappointment...I thought this shit was clearing up? jeez...

Honestly, I'm not too concerned, upset about it. Yeah you want him out there. But the receivers group is the least of my concerns for the team. Plenty of football to be played, no need to rush him back. The only concern if this is become a Devante Parker/Perriman type of situation.

Re: Brown Frown Pregame Thread
The frustration with Doctson is he's a first rounder. So far he's done not a god damn thing. The only player from the 16 draft class that's doing anything is Cravens. It's very early, but so far this past draft class is garbage.
At this point I'd shut Docston down for the year. This has dragged on long enough. |

Re: Brown Frown Pregame Thread
This is going to boil down to once again whether Cousins plays well and if we get tds instead of fgs{no more fades please!!}
I fully expect our defense to be carved up by the Browns rushing attack and for the defense to be fully unprepared for the bag of tricks that the Beowns will use with Pryor.Lets face it,this defense isnt going to stop anybody all year and this Browns team is not as bad as their 0-3 record. It would not surprise me one bit for us to come out flat, hell that's been the skins MO for the past 20 years or so.This is a game we should fully expect to win but it would be typical of the Skins to lose this game

Brown Frown Pregame Thread
Am I crazy or did J Doc have slight injury concerns when we drafted him.
We could have had a guy in our front 7 that was contributing right now. Damn. Hope he gets healthy and becomes an all pro though. Httr. Edit: wrist injury that shut him down in college. But where there is smoke..... |

Couldn't agree more. Our fifth rounder got cut. Is Fuller hurt? I still think that was a reach and a half Really early on looks Vinny'ish except for Cravens. |

Re: Brown Frown Pregame Thread
I really hope this is a facade because he is the savior imo. He is going to turn this franchise around and build it from the inside out etc. not hitting the panic button but if we re-graded our draft right now it would get a big fat turd. |

Re: Brown Frown Pregame Thread
Doc - injured.
Cravens - stud Fuller - we will see him this weekend Ioannidis - gone. Worst pick ever. Sudfeld - who knows? Could be Dudfeld. I hope KC makes him irrelevant anyway. Daniels - gone Marshall - hurt and i doubt he will ever amount to anything anyway. Hope Fuller shows some potential this weekend. |

Looking at the draft classes from the teams he was part of before he came here, there were really bad bust years. It's what happens over the long term that matters. There is inherent value in FO continuity if the philosophy is good. Tough Defense, run the ball (coaches need to get on board), smart, high character, tough guys. If we don't spend like Denver, Arizona and NYG in free agency then it is going to be a slower rebuild and continuity is even more important. We have an awesome cap situation and a lot of younger players on the rise. We just need to stay the course with the FO philosophy and make small changes if necessary (scouts, talent evaluators, etc. . .).

Re: Brown Frown Pregame Thread
Might as well cut em all now. The class is clearly a bust.
