While I agree the turnover battle is the reason why we lost the game--it highlights the fact that we need some sort of disruptive type player on defense (besides Taylor) that can cause turnovers.
I think our defense is fundamentally sound but does not necessarily strike FEAR in the hearts of offensive coordinators. I mean are there any players on our defense that offensive coordinators need to gameplan against? Other than Taylor?

Even though this is a plug in play type of defense, it does take a couple special players to make a difference.

Sorry i shouldn't have said i hated his guts ... too emotional..it was just seeing those LB's get pushed around... it was horrible...and it's personal..it's obviously personal... a coach is supposed to put his feelings aside and do whats best for the team ..like him or not lavar has talents ...

This guy is/was the face of the Redskins. He is in the public eye. When people ask him why he isn't playing, what is he supposed to say.

Lavar has got to be just as confused as we are, maybe he is telling the truth with I am not sure what I need to do to get in the game. Post game comments by GW have me still lost as hell, because players are getting beat so the discipline card or best players card is running out why he is not playing. Gibbs says you can help this team, I have to ask how, when you do not get on the field? Gibbs is out of this he says he trust what the defense coaches are doing, but GW is sounding more and more ignorant when he says week after week he is getting better, but sees less and less playing time. I know he is a great coach and I am not questioning that, but if he is not going to play a down and is playing that bad he should not even be a back up and deactivated and a linebacker who can at least get in some type of rotation and contribute and end this damn mess with why is our most athletic player on the bench and can't be plugged in during 3rd and longs like you said are his packages. I am sure Holdman is coming out who is going in to give him a breather when he is tired?

man right know im starting to hate gregg williams because he hasnt even gaven lavar a shot.Man im sorry to say i love the redskins but damn our 3 linebackers suck at pass rushing the qb its like not even having the 3,rushing the qb.What im saying is that dam gregg williams give lavar a shot and if hes not the same the first game give him fucking time damn hes not gonna 2 be bac to normal the 1rst game it takes time.On top of the linebackers rushing the qb why cant we stop that one BIG running play that always kills us the past 2 games.Gregg Williams i give u respect because of what u did to our defense but stop being the one guy who wants to prove to peaple u dont need lavar and just put him in there dam!!!!!!!!!

This whole think with LA is really sickening. The defense is struggling right now and there's no way you can argue that he wouldn't help the team if he were allowed to play. We aren't getting to the QB and we aren't causing fumbles. And the coaches want us to believe that LA can't contribute positively to either problem?

I really am beginning to think this whole thing has become somewhat of an ego struggle between LA and the defensive coaches. Shame on them both, but more shame on the coaches because they're supposed to be making decisions in the team's best interests and, in this case, I definitely do not believe that they are.

It's a disgrace to see LA sitting on the bench at every game. And I'm tired of hearing the lame excuses that we get each week. Do they really think the fans are so ignorant as to believe the **** that they are feeding us as to why he isn't playing?

With LA in the lineup we'd probably would have given up more 30+ yard TD runs. So what are you guys saying? I thought Marcus Washington was shook up on one play and was anxious to see if Coach Williams was going to sub LA. The LBs 'starting' right now haven't missed much, if any time.

Let's not act like Arrington is an innocent bystander here, I think both sides share the blame in this, check out the Arrington article in the WP today, it really sums things up nicely and makes valid points for both sides involved.
