I think the players coach vs a hard ass is so overrated. What is Gary Kubiak? He sure couldn't get over the hump in Houston, then he got a great defense and now he's a SB winning coach. In the end it's still about players and currently we don't have enough good ones.

There is a happy medium between being a players coach, but one with discipline. This isn't Matt Jones third fumble. This is his 8th in 243 attempts. That's about 1 fumble for every 30 carries. No, this is the time to instill discipline in the team and let them know it's not going to be tolerated. I can live with mistakes, just not mistakes that continue to be a pattern. I'm not saying he should be cut, just made inactive for couple games and given a final chance.
