Again, I put this on Snyder. It's personal with Cousins. He can overpay low quality human being like Haynesworth, or overpay Norman, who's a good player but not a great one, but can't get a deal done with his franchise QB. Seems pretty obvious what's going on here...
Yes, because the deadline has not come yet. You make it sound like we are the only team with a franchise tagged player which has dragged out negotiations on a long-term deal.

This is how the NFL is run, this is how teams deal with negotiations period. This is all business, both sides are looking for a number and they have NO REASON to budge at the moment.

And yes this is the same situation, just a different player position.
