Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
So the Raiders gave Carr $25 Million a year and it’s obvious Cousins is a better QB and possibly better than Stafford too. What does Cousins get next year? $30 million/year?

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
He gets the market rate for an above-average starting quarterback, which is typically 14.5% of the salary cap. Assuming the cap rises next year, that's what the number will be.

Who outplayed Carr? Carr is good, but I take Cousins any day.

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
Carr is playing hurt this yr, Kirk is my guy don't get me wrong but he doesn't have the talent those guys have, esp arm wise. Kirk will be a consistent top 12 QB though until he's done

Guess Kirk isn't going to be done in DC.
https://twitter.com/jsteelznskins/st...81677052153856 @jsteelznskins Reason why San Fran traded for Qb . Kirk .. Trans Tag. U are it .QB for a couple more years . Skins plan to pay the man or match

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
Who is that?
Does he have any insider info? The reason SF traded for a QB is because they had an opportunity to get a QB. Also, that qb isn’t going to ask for $150 mil next year. |

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
If we tag Kirk again we might as well quit on the 2018 season. That would cripple us

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
Not a transition tag it wouldn't. A exclusive FT would.

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
Transition tags would also leave us open to another team putting in some horseshit poison pill nonsense that would make it impossible for us to keep him.
I want to get my hopes up, but damn I don't want to get my hopes up. Only we can be so financially loose over two decades with everybody else' players, then drag out a qb extension over 3 years (which is unheard of in the NFL).

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
Case Keenum wouldn't be a bad Plan B if Cousins signs elsewhere. Keenum went after Josh Norman yesterday, making him look like a pretty ordinary CB.

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
I don't see it that way at all. The Redskins will have plenty of cap room going into 2018, I think around 65 million or so, that's not counting any cuts. Do you bring back Reed? So there will be enough to sign KC and add some free agents.
