I liked that line because it was honest. I didn't interpret it as laying the responsibility for the entire record at Cousins's feet, because he did in the same answer say that injuries played a big role. But yeah, I mean wasn't Cousins the primary culprit for the Week 17 loss to the Giants and a huge contributor to the shit burger we laid against the Chargers?

He was also a major contributor to several of our wins.

But Gruden's right, he was good, but we were only 7-9 and he needs to be better.
