I think SF will learn from how we handled Kirk. They should know that the Jimmy G camp will expect a strong offer or will wait to be franchised.

Once franchised, the starting point for negotiations will be $20M per year anyway. SF would be smart to come with a strong offer like $21M or $22M per season to avoid going down the same road that Allen took us with Kirk.
