I get what you are trying to say, in terms of KC and his value absent the FT. But the fact is Kirk could walk away now and have pocketed over 50 million on his first contract as a 4th rounder. In the current CBA era, any agent that told him to do otherwise would not have been doing him any favors either. It's just as plausible his agent was telling him that, while the Skins offer was low his record and bad games could be keep the offers from reaching the value of the franchise tag and the Skins oline is a good pass protecting line so the risk was worth the upfront cash and let FA come later.
