Here here.

I know all, or most, of the complaints about Bruce and the FO valid, and there's been some really doosies of mistakes, but by and large there roster management has been significantly more rational and consistent since Bruce replaced Vinny. I'm not saying it's been great, but I really think things are going in a more positive direction than 10 years ago.

I wonder why people buy the narrative that the RG3 was not Shanahan?

I can say Dan is to blame for listening to Vinny and ending up with Zorn. But fans were against hiring Fassel and fans want Shanahan.

In 2012 Shanahan was singing a different tune about RG3.

Because Shanahan wanted Cousins Snyder wanted RGIII,Shanahan wanted to show unity with his owner .Pretty much everyone knew that .

Yet Cousin claims the Shanahans told them he was drafted to be traded later.

He sounds more than towing the line of unity.

Link? Shanahan knew what he had in Cousins if(when) RGIII falls he will look like a smart coach.

I think this team has beem pretty loyal to him as well. He's had a longer than average career here.

Cousins was on a DC area radio station recently, and he talked about the*first conversation he had with Kyle Shanahan*after the 2012 NFL Draft.

“He was just introducing himself,” Cousins recalled. “I remember the first thing he said was, ‘My goal is to develop you and help you play well enough that someday we can trade you.'”

“And that was kind of the vision all along,” he said. “We didn’t draft you to not help the team or to sit on the bench, but at the same time, we don’t really want you to play. We want you to sit on the bench and hopefully play well enough in the preseason to get an opportunity.”

You would think Cousins defenders would know this.

For better or worse, one executive tells me there are about to be an onslaught of trades, including ones with marquee players. Bennett just the beginning. Buckle up!

Eagles 10 million over they will try to trade away rather than cut.

It's going to be an interesting free agency.

Looks like the NFL may start the MLB approach with O/S deals

Read the very next sentence in the story....

"Although we have since learned how much the Shanahan’s liked Cousins over RG3".

You would figure cousin haters would know this by now.
