In fact russia at the un supported stricter sanctions on NK. We killed russian advisors in syria. We moved our israel embassy to jerusalem and russia barely squeaked about it. Putin agreed to strengthen the fight against isis, where before they were tacitly allowing iran to aid them. Maybe putin is in trumps back pocket.
