One vendor had on nothing but Redskins gear including Redskins shoes and socks!
I asked him about it and he said there are a lot of Skins fans on the reservations and typically anyone that doesn't want to cheer for the Broncos or Cowboys will end up a Redskins fan, poor bastards.
He said he was 100% Arapaho but lived in Pecos with his wife who was 100% Pecos Indian.
I ended up with a pair of overpriced sterling silver earrings for the old lady and his business card just in case Dan needs me to find some Indians to support the team.

Been to that exact spot. Santa Fe is awesome. My wife has family out there. It is funny because I have only really known one full blooded native American in my life. Mary - super cool lady. Worked with her at a bar out in Tahoe in the 90’s and she was a die hard Skins fan. Not because of the superbowl years - in other words she wasn’t a bandwagon. She was pretty old than so it isn’t like she started watching football in the 80’s. She wasn’t from the DC area. Born n raised out west. She rooted for them because of the emblem and the name. Her words.
