It's common knowledge man, drafting for need doesn't seem to work out. Unless you have adequate talent across the board and can afford to focus on one position, which we don't and can't.

That would be great, but I seriously doubt that Jones would last to pick 36 and Savage to list to pick 76. Both will be gone long before those picks, IMO. |

Re: Redskins Mock Draft
Sorry that should read pick 46 for Jones, although I think he will be gone before pick 36, as well. .

Re: Redskins Mock Draft
Only thing I see wrong with this is waiting until the 7th to take a guard. Guard needs to be a priority.

Re: Redskins Mock Draft
No, I said I wouldn't be surprised if we use one of our first 3 picks on a qb. That includes giving up a 2nd for Rosen (which would be our best option if Gruden/Allen/Williams decide they can't afford to waste a season with Keenum at qb). They might not go qb, but I really wouldn't be surprised if Snyder gave them a pass for last season given all the injuries. They probably won't get another pass if they have another bad year this year. Thus making it more likely they go after a qb this year so they can save their jobs.

Re: Redskins Mock Draft
I agree but what else could I do? They were there so I had to pick them. It's nice to fantasize about a big haul in the draft.
