Look, another report Colt had a setback in his recovery...I would move on from Colt and set the QB room with Alex Smith, Haskins and Keenam. Id attach Smith at the hip of Haskins with the plan of giving Keenam the first opportunity at the job. Then let the competition begin...let Jay make the call right before season, but we shouldn't rush it.

This is the smart play. I wasn't a fan of the pick but obviously we all want him to succeed. I think if they throw Haskins out there this year with this WR corps it would be like throwing him to the wolves. Letting him sit for a year and shadow Smith while we get some help on the WR corps would be a really smart move.

I just worry with Gruden's job on the line he'll feel pressured to start Haskins before he's ready.
