Never said it wouldn't have worked. Stop making things up just to argue. Again, your question comes into play, did you actually watch the game? How many yards did Clinton Portis run on this defense all day? You still haven't told me how many years you've coached in the NFL nor how many Super Bowl appearances and trophies you have won.



It might have worked and it might not have worked. It is a bigger risk to role your qb out on that third down play AND to throw the ball. It's idiotic in my opinion. Our strength that day was running the ball.




That is why your argument is a weak one at best. You can't come up with anything that has to do with the present season to fully support your argument. It's last year this, last year that. The only people who care about last year are the ones who live by the old saying, "misery loves company." They haven't got the strength to put down last season and move forward.

As I said, what games are you watching, I gave you 5 examples, 4 of which are from this season and your harping about the 1 example from last year? when all you had to do was give some examples when we have run the ball down someones throat to seal a game, and you didn't bother to back up one of your points all you did was attack, why? Because you don't have a point!

Portis had 40 yards or there abouts in the second half, perhaps the Bucs made a half time adjustment???????

I would have spelled a little better but was way 2 tired, I felt I should throw you a bone anyway because I knew you weren't going to be able to break down my argument it's not fair your wrong all the time, lets compromise, you troll around the site and correct the grammer, and leave the football analazation to the big boy's, if your good the next time a spelling contest comes around I will be the first in line to sign you up.

Now here's your first test, in this thread I have DELLIBRITLY spelled a word wrong, now if you can find it, and correct it, that will go a long way in my book for naming you the site spelling bee, now be carefull this is an honor you don't want to mess up, good luck with your quest. :headbange

Dude, you're seriously making yourself look silly. The sad thing is, you actually believe you only mispelled one word. It's almost sad in a hilarious sort of way. I am not even sure you realize which word you meant to misspell, LOL! As far as leaving the football analyzation (hint, hint) to the "Big boys," please realize it is not the size of one's gut that makes them knowledgeable in football. Common sense will tell you that I have merely echoed the same well thought out view that the large majority of fans here stated in regards to that particular play. In addition to that, it is very reasonable to conclude that I've made several good points concerning the third and two play. I, not only have a hall of fame coach to back that up, but the large majority here as well.

In the end, this whole thread comes down to this main point: Who freakin' cares? The play is nearly a week old now! I will leave the belly aching and the pessimism to you while I celebrate in this season of new found confidence in my favorite NFL team. You can post a retort of cracks and put downs if you want, becase I'm sure you will never be "2" tired to do so.
