If they have the proof it very well might. It's something simple that the public can get behind and the GOP would love an opportunity to ditch Trump. Truthfully the Mueller report should have been enough, but most people didn't read some 500 pages and it was complex if you weren't really following it. A simple he asked (as President of the United States) to interfere in our 2020 election by getting dirt on a rival's son.

Also, the whistleblower said there were 8 acts, and a Trump appointed IG deemed it urgent and credible enough that when the DNI didn't go to congress with it, he notified them. Sounds serious to me.
We can only hope so. Hope is dead when it comes to politics for me though.

Chico, Cred, what sayeth the Trumpers? Is it ok to withhold congressionally approved aid from a country because they won't investigate your political rival's son? Or in another roundabout way of saying it, is it ok to ask for the aid of another country to help you win an upcoming election?
