Isn't it like THE worst option possible ?

There's absolutely no chance that any offer would be higher during the offseason for a player having 1 year left on his contract in a situation where teams will have many options, versus now for a player having 2 years left in a situation where LT needy teams have very few options...

Beyond stupid.
