I think the point was that with a new, better, staff coming in, KOC's limited experience doesn't qualify as an automatic pass on going through the interview and evaluation process. If KOC impresses we all hope that Rivera will make his choice on those basis' not whether KOC was a golden child here before, or Scott Turner was his OC in Carolina.
