It is hard to beat a sitting president when the economy is doing good. Even though Bernie seems to be exceptionally honest for a politician his far left views won't get Republicans like myself who can't stand Trump to flip sides. Oddly if Bernie got the nomination in 2016 I would have voted for him, but won't in 2020.
The strange reason is because of Trump, as I always thought congress would keep a president who went off the rails to cause too much damage. That isn't the case with Trump, the dude is a loose cannon if one ever existed. It will be Biden or a write in nonsense candidate for me. |
