well ... we have our young backup. He just turned 24 a couple weeks ago.
If we took a project QB w the 5th ... we would be fine with that.

Exactly...I think this is a good move. Who knows how much of a training camp they'll get for Haskins to learn this offense, so they wanted someone in the building who already knows it. I remember Carolina fans saying how much better of a passing QB this kid was compared to Newton. And yes that too, this now should mean no chance of them bringing in Cam as well.
