But there are no pro teams in West Virginia. Culturally Athens County is closer to Cincinnati in its "small town" feel. The people from Athens switched their allegiance to LSU when Joe played there. They will have no trouble becoming Bengals fans. By contrast, people from Columbus will not become Bengals fans if Young was drafted by the Bengals. If Columbus fans heard Chase was going to Cincy the vast majority of them would hold a funeral for him.
