I think in Dunbars case, RR wanted to “make an example” to show that he wants players on his program - or they can leave. But letting two very good players go, when this is one of the worst franchises in the NFL, is a bit much. At least until Rivera can show the Redskins how to win, the team may have to overpay players to stay. I’d like to see the “home grown” talented players stay on the team.
