This is true and you are right they have been bad but now Young can add that superstar to this team that is desperate for one. Dallas has a great offense for sure and they will score a ton but that defense could be in rouble

Getting rid of Manusky, and having the players coach themselves would vault the D into the middle of the NFL.

Adding Chase Young, and a proven DC in Jack Del Rio, pushes it even higher.

How high? Who knows.

But losing Manusky and adding Del Rio and Rivera by itself is a game changer. Throw in the consensus best player in the draft, and these dreams become more plausible.

Counterpoint: Our last HC couldn't hire a defensive coordinator worth a damn his entire tenure in DC.

Let's see what an actual defensive guy can do with the talent before we start wondering if they're busts.

Exactly! I called for Manusky's head two years ago. If sandtrap couldn't see the Redskins' D was poorly coached, then he's simply viewing things with Cowboys' lenses or doesn't know the game.

Rivera and JDR has proven themselves, particularly when working in conjunction. Let's see how they can work with this defensive group before taking this defensive front behind the woodshed.

Poor coaching. Marinelli is such a good coach for y’all..I was pissed when y’all got him and then the Eagles scored Schwartz...that’s tough sledding in the division. It’s gonna be a 180 for us this year.

How bout Del Rio and Chase Young? Think they might make a difference? Not to mention what a piss poor offense can do to a defense by keeping them on the field. But honestly you got your own worries. Like being the most underachieving team over the last five years. All bark no bite.
