I remember a first date when I was 18 with a girl I ended up shacking up with for a year or so. I lived in So Cal and it was a 50 mile drive to Palm Springs an area with a good assortment of fine dining. My screen name was actually given to me by my college football teammates due to eating enough to feed a buffalo. Before going on dinner dates I would usually stop and eat so then an hour or so later I would be satisfied with a normal meal.

Before this date I stopped at a mom & pop Mexican joint and ate a couple burritos with hot salsa and a side of hot peppers. Big mistake! On the way to Palm Springs I must have stopped a half dozen times feigning that I heard a strange noise under the hood of the car and needed to go investigate. When it seemed the gas attack was over I got out one more time claiming I finally found a loose spark plug wire that was causing the car to run intermittently on 7 cylinders.
