Good post - my sentiments exactly! I couldn't have said it any better.

While I appreciate good journalism, I don't appreciate someone taking shots at the city and the team I grew up with. As a youngster, I was at THE Dallas championship game at RFK back in the 80's when Gibbs, Riggo, Manley and Co. manhandled Dallas. It was great!!! I know and have seen how this city acts when this team wins - four times under Gibbs!! I've felt that old stadium rock up and down! Yes, I know this is the 2000s or whatever and not the 80s anymore, but that history is still a very real part my love for this team. It was in part what brought coach Gibbs back to this city. I'm not trying to resurrect nostalgia, maybe just defend it a little.

So to hear this bullshit from her, (and, oh by the way, I'm sure she could defend her article quite eloquently if she were here) quite frankly is starting to become offensive (pardon the pun!).

But after all this is still America and there is freedom of speech. I just wish she could practice hers somewhere else, not amongst us who wear burgundy colored glasses.
