I wouldn't use the XFL as much of a yardstick. They only played 5 games before suspending operations.

Not bigging up Heinicke but plenty of QB's have been journeymen etc. and still produced good games/seasons later in their career. We won't really know until he plays Sunday (assuming AS isn't good to go), but I see no reason to be down on the guy at this point.
