If the kid isn’t NFL ready, but has the requisite tools to excel, you got to look at it that way. I would honestly prefer it, bc it would give us another year or two to build a better line and skill position weapons so when the kid comes in you aren’t putting as much pressure on him to do more with less.

Aaron Rodgers was pick # 24, not the top half of the 1st round. I'd be more willing to let a QB sit for a year and learn if he's picked ~20-32. Lance is projected to be picked in the top 10, some mocks have him as early as #4. If that's the case, he should start day 1.
