I really don't get what you think the solution is for the obvious need at QB. I don't want to misstate your ideal plan, but this is what I think it is.
No trades - No qb's available are good enough or worth using our draft resources to get.

Get a franchise qb through the draft, with no interference by DS.
If the QB drafted doesn't pan out, go through the process again, changing FO if need be to find the right group that can work within the conditions of WFT as owned by DS.

I don't think you would be ok using the resources needed to get up to the #1 or 2 overall pick, so if having losing seasons till we find that QB is what has to happen than so be it.

Sorry, I just don't get the plan. I hear all the negative reasons for what we can't do, but I don't have a clue at all what you realistically think we can do.
