Sam Darnold intrigues me only because Adam Gase sucks donkey balls. The kid has talent, and could probably be had pretty cheap, as the new regime takes over the Jetties.

I'd also take Teddy Bridgewater, who won in Minnesota before his crazy knee injury, and won 5 games for the Saints when Brees went down.

I wouldn't break the bank to get either (or really anyone else) at this point, but I also think those guys have serious upside potential.



But it feels like we have grown ups in charge now, so we'll see what they do.

I don't disagree with this. Gase has basically rode Peyton's endorsement ever since he let Peyton run the show his last couple years in the league. If we had to take a flyer because every other option didn't pan out, I'd kick the tires on Darnold. Tannehill had to escape Gase before Vrabel let him fly like the proud peacock he is.
