I've talked to an NFL source, not w/the Eagles, who hears a Wentz trade is close. That isn't first-hand information. I do feel that the longer we go without Wentz saying something like "I'm happy to be an Eagle and excited about playing for Nick Sirianni," the closer we get...

While I don't think WFT are involved and it is just an unsourced tweet, it is interesting and affects the market

I find this hard to believe given:

- The dead cap Wentz would incur on the Iggles would be ridiculous.
- Doug Pedersen was fired because he wanted to roll with Hurts

I don't even know if they could pull a deal like the Rams, where they gave up picks to get rid of Goff's contract.

Honestly, it is a lose-lose situation with Wentz for the Iggles, unless Wentz magically starts playing well again.
