Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
of course, re-signing TH doesn't change anything for the long term QB plans

Skip on Allen then?
I like your idea especially if we can draft one of those guys. |

I really hope Smith retires. Great story but I don't want to deal with that song and dance again. Hoping both sides move on.

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
I would sign Fitzpatrick, draft Jones and go with Fitz, Jones and Heinecke (sp?). I would sign a No. 2 WR and a LB in free agency, draft a TE with our second pick,. 2 third round picks go to an offensive tackle and a linebacker. The rest of our picks I would use on LB, CB and S.

I agree on Smith. 2020 was a great story. But time to move beyond Hallmark movies and try to build a legit Superbowl contender.

I don't like Mac Jones at #19 though. I think that's way too early for him, but he'll be gone by the time they pick in the 2nd. He might be gone by pick #19 if you believe the mock drafts, but in my opinion that's a terrible reach. My plan would be sign Tyrod Taylor, and draft Mond in the 4th - go with T Taylor, T Heinicke, and K Mond. First four picks: #19 - Christian Darrisaw - OT #51 - Dylan Moses, - LB #74 - Terrace Marshall Jr - WR #82 - Ar'Darius Washington - S Rd 5-7: BPA |

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
I don't understand why a few of you guys are still advocating for the team to sign Tyrod Taylor.. Taylor was once a somewhat effective QB when he was in Bills and unfortunately for Taylor Bills didn't do a good job of giving Taylor weapons to play with. He didn't do much on any other teams.. I would prefer to play Smith instead of signing Taylor if it gets to that point.
