Really there's only one QB that is off the table - Stafford. There are plenty of "options" out there, just have to be smart about what you are willing to part with to make a deal. So far it appears that they are taking the measured approach they said they would, and are asking the questions, but are not willing to give up more than what they perceive the value to be. Thank goodness.
I would overpay for Watson (he's the only one), but the jury is still out on whether or not he is going to hit the trade market. However, I still think they can upgrade the QB position in free agency without giving up assets. There are probably 3-4 free agent QBs who would be an upgrade compared to what was on the field last year. I say let the other QB needy teams fight over Wentz, Carr, Darnold, Bridgewater, Foles, etc. and then when free agency hits they won't have to overpay "as much" for one of those guys.
These potential trade targets aren't markedly better than what you can get in free agency in my opinion.
