There's no guarantee a QB they like will fall to #19, or that anyone will take an offer to trade up to get a QB they like. So I don't think they can wait until the draft plays out before addressing the QB situation. That's almost May... Free agency opens on March 17th. I would expect them to be actively pursuing a QB in free agency, if they haven't already traded for a Veteran. It will be hard to lure a top WR or TE here with Heinicke as the only QB on the roster. Even if Smith is still hanging around.

Word. Definitely more than 1 way to go about handling the QB situation. I'm not locked into any 1 idea and all the rest are bad. That's just my personal preference.
