I 100% assumed the age of consent in Florida was 17 and he could get in trouble if he transferred a 17 year old across state lines and had sex.

But Florida, the age of consent is 18 so if he did have sex with a 17 year old, thats statutory rape. Romeo Juliet law allows some consideration if they are within 4 years of age.

Well see where it goes ... the whole his family is getting extorted by a DOJ agent thing is weird .. the DOJ agent he is accusing of isnt there anymore, doesnt have the ability to make this DOJ investigation go away and if your dad is wearing a wire, didnt you just make public the sting operation to prove the extortion?

the whole I have a son and I let him to go spring break thing is weird to .. he doesnt have a son, he has some 19 year old living at his house for some reason. This 19 year odl has a dad, he isnt named Matthew gaetz.

I just watched this. Gaetz is going out of his way to try to throw Tucker under the bus with him. Very weird.

I liked Gaetz, but this interview, not because he's necessarily guilty of anything illegal, but just because of the typical trying to deflect, is off-putting at best and flat out wrong at worst. He's a perfect (and for Americans shitty) politician for DC.
