Edelman's regular season numbers are pretty weak comparing him with other HOF'ers and guys that have been passed over so far.

It's early, and likely a knee jerk reaction. Hopefully these talking heads will come to their senses as the dust settles. I heard Schefty lobbying for him already, just minutes after he announced his retirement. A bit ridiculous really.
