Agreed. Every "choice" in the fan new name polls SUCK DONKEY BALLS. If we're going to be stuck with a name that SUCKS DONKEY BALLS, we should keep WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM. |

Personally I don't want some generic non-name to build a new legacy on. Start new, and bring new memories for the youth to attach to. Think about a 10year old fan dressed getting syked to dress as a wolf or howl at the stadium. Thats awesomeness. Sitting in a wft bland jersey with no identity except the past for the future that sucks for a 10 yo fan. Us "adults" ought to be able to accept change and move forward to create an inspiring legacy for the next generation. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |

It is possible to honor the Redskins, and be behind the new name of the franchise at the same time. |

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Sorry but the "not picking a new name equals staying Redskins" is quite short sighted to me. It may work for you (but wouldn't it have a canada dry taste?), but what meaning would it have in 50 years for people being born now, and in 100 years for people born 50 years from now ? It'll keep sending back to a name that has zero meaning for them...
Plus, with how detailed a process Jason Wright has explained times and times again, I just don't think staying WFT is an option. They can't afford to go "You know the fans input we asked you to provide and were so proud to say how many we received ? We won't use them cause that's too expensive. You know the rebranding we talked about so much for a year and a half ? We won't do it cause it's too complicated. You know the new name we were supposed to reveal to the world soon and install for the 2022 season ? Well we don't have one so we'll keep the generic place holder"... Just not happening.

My only worry is... could it be the start of Dan being more involved since he's kinda being re-instated by the league and doesn't have much to worry anymore ? If that's the case, let's hope he focuses on the stadium and name ONLY!

So keep WFT. (Also it pokes a finger into the eyes of the Cultural Revolutionaries (those guys need a little woke book they can wave in the air to complete the picture of who they are)). |

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Many friends and family still saying redskins and skins, just what they will always be to me. I’ll never quit saying mostly based on the reasoning how it was changed. It wasn’t racist…that’s laughable horseshit every knows when u say Redskins you were only ever talking about the franchise in NFL.
Likewise I don’t mind anyone saying the new name or buying /wearing the new attire. It all good how we chose to celebrate the franchise.

I’m just gonna bow out. You don’t get what I’m saying and that’s fine.

Yeah ... it really sucks for all those 10 year olds in Wisconsin ... not having a "cool" mascot to dress up as. The Packers NEVER pass on their "super fan-ism" on to the next generation because their name sucks balls. ![]() |

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Just bought a WFT hat, tee, and tank last night. If they change the name before the season starts that's gonna be hilarious. Shit will become retro in less than 4 months time.
Go Team!
