I'm actually more excited to see Brown play than I'm disappointed about Samuels missing the game

Honestly, I'd rather they play it safe with him. He's a weapon, but I'd rather have him at 100% for 15 games, than trot him out there at 80% and risk aggravating the groin injury. If he doesn't play until next week or even week three, I'm good with that. We're pretty deep at WR.

Just IR him. If he's been dealing with this since May it's not getting better in a week and probably needs long term rest and/or surgery.

Feels good to be deep at WR - next man up. Don't want Samuel coming back until he's 100%.

The good news is the coaches have probably known for weeks now that having Samuel week 1 was going to be a bonus and something they couldn't plan on. Even just a few days ago they were talking like at best maybe he'd be available for a limited number of plays. So this shouldn't be a major blow to the game plan.

Samuel has never even had a 1,000 season. You don't pay gadget guys 34 million over 3 years. Like someone mentioned I want to see this kid from NC anyway. Also the last time we saw Sims he was having a pretty damn good game against TB. Humhpries doesn't do much for me. He is a JAG of all JAGS.
