Re: Predictions and Projections 2021 WFT Results
This is my "ok I can live with it" prediction . Because of the schedule differences, Dallas wins the east, we get one of the wildcard spots and wind up facing Dallas in the first game. We crush them 39-14 giving us a 3 game sweep, a 2nd place schedule next year and advancing in the playoffs deeper this year.

This was a bad team last year and until they prove otherwise I'm giving them a bad team record, 5-12.

So do they win the Division again at 5-12, or do the other teams in the NFC East (who were just as bad or worse last year) get more of a benefit of the doubt? |

Well, the other teams aren't facing a 1st place schedule.

Re: Predictions and Projections 2021 WFT Results
IMO, the "first place schedule" stuff can be overrated. It's three teams we'll play in which our competition will not play. Can those three games make a difference? Sure, it can. But that doesn't necessarily mean it wi make difference. Not to mention, there could be a chance a team or two could underperform per our "first place schedule," while our division brethren competition could be better than they were a season ago.
Just one man's opinion. I think some folks put too much stock in those three games when things can change not year-to-year but week-to-week. |

Hopkins smashes David Akers record of 44 field goals in a season by 25. He is placed in the record books with 69 field goals, and his right shoe is immediately sent to canton after the locker room celebration with the Lombardi trophy.

Re: Predictions and Projections 2021 WFT Results
I am going to say 8-9. We play a lot of good offenses this season that will scheme around our D line and put the pressure on our weak LBs and secondary will struggle at times. I do think overall we'll be very competitive and those losses will mostly be close...but not quite enough offense to get them over the top.

I will say I do think we have a mighty tough schedule, though. I'm buckling up for the ride, though. Can't wait for tomorrows game. Just mowed the lawn and swept the newly installed patio. Making sure the only thing I have to do before the game tomorrow is go and pick up hoagies for me and the lady. HAIL!

Re: Predictions and Projections 2021 WFT Results
Welp, 1st place after two weeks.
They haven't looked like the best team in the Division, but if the season ended today, WFT would be the NFC East champs again and the only NFC East team in the playoffs. LOL! Only 15 more to go! |
