Should Brunell be replaced? (merged)

The fact that this is even being discussed is ridiculous to me.

You don't make a QB change after your starter has a bad half and the team is in the middle of a playoff chase.

Maybe you do this sort of thing if you're playing Madden, but in real life these things don't happen, and thank god for that.

What sort of message does that send to the team? You're basically saying the offensive problems are all on Brunell's shoulders. Granted he had a bad game, but his first pick was a on a tip that Cooley will usually catch 99.9% of the time, and there were a few drops that didn't help.

Just like last year, there are other factors that are playing in to the offensive problems, and they don't all fall on Brunell. Thinking that Brunell is the only thing wrong is a very myopic view to have and if you think Ramsey is the answer to all our problems you're really smoking something.

It's just silly to me to suggest making a QB change this late in the season when the team is trying to make a playoff push and your starter has had a solid season.

Hey, Eli Manning tossed 3 picks yesterday and almost cost them the game. I wonder if they should just give Tim Hasselbeck a shot. Why not right?
