Great call to throw to Royal with 2:00 left
have to give props to the playcalling,finally skins dont go conservative and try to run out the clock,nobody,I mean nobody,expected the skins to throw to Royal with 2:03 left,that call definetly helped us win this game

i was praying they would throw it because if it was incomplete it would have probably been at 2 minutes or if they ran it, the clock would have stopped at 2 minutes anyway.

yeah i was like, damn the redskins are actually throwing when they have a lead with under 3 minutes to go in the game. Rare moment indeed.

Wasn't this pretty much the same scenario against Tampa, except it was third down in that game? Glad we learned something.

That was a magnificent call. In the past, we'd have seen 2 runs up the middle for a total of five yards, an incomplete pass, and Derrick Frost kicking a 30-yard punt.

I think it was the only call to have made in that situation. What about the hand off to Portis to grab that last first down?

royal has actually looked pretty darn good the past 2 weeks, he has some pretty good speed for a big tight end
