You ever been on a movie set before? Their time with the camera rolling is highly regulated due to how expensive it is and to minimize wasted film. They literally pay people to be prop masters and weapon masters (if a film has enough weapons in it) to make sure all intended props are prepared properly and ready to go for filming. On a cheap movie producers will absolutely try to save money by cheaping out on a qualified prop master. Sadly - her death is not the first time this has happened and it probably won't be the last.

Anybody who reads your post is gonna know immediately you're talking out of your ass out of an irrational hate for Baldwin. Which I get - because he is an asshole. But this isn't on him.

Edit: Assistant director handed Baldwin the gun and told him it was safe according to court documents.
