Re: Washington Football Team Defense 2021
You and me both.. I still find it hard to believe how the group fell off the track, especially with Del-Rio's history with defenses. I would give Del-Rio another chance next year, as long as he will make some changes.

Re: Washington Football Team Defense 2021
How do you give up 500 yards in an NFL game? You just have to be real bad to do that. And we are just that. Bad all around.

Re: Washington Football Team Defense 2021
To be fair, I would probably give up playing if my offense can only put up 13 points after intercepting Mahommes twice, recovering a fumble, and keeping the Chiefs offense to 10 points in the first half.

Our average currently is 423 yards against. On the average Sunday the opposing team will put up almost 425 yards against us. Just sayin

Re: Washington Football Team Defense 2021
The warning signs were there going back to last season when Tampa rolled for 500+ in the playoffs. People dismissed it as well that's Tampa. No sorry, that's a sign of a subpar defense.

Re: Washington Football Team Defense 2021
The DE rotation now consists of James Smith-Williams, Shaka Toney, Casey Toohill, Daniel Wise, and Bunmi Rotimi. Two undrafted in 2018/2019, and three 7th rounders from 2020/2021.
