Well one thing is for sure about this trade, Ron is definitely in charge right now, not Snyder...because Snyder would've never been down for this...I'm sure his reaction is very similar to much of the fan base. It is not exciting, and doesn't inspire hope to a franchise that is desperately seeking hope. I think there is a very small chance Wentz will win here but I hope I'm wrong. It is funny to me that some are saying they like this deal vs signing a free agent because they'd have to commit more to a free agent...you commit as much as you want in the contract they sign...you make it a prove it this year type deal or we can move on from you. I think we've also learned Ron doesn't want a rookie QB...at all...so don't look for one to be drafted this season or next, unless they have a top 3 pick...which could happen.

Problem with that is team B comes along and says hey Carson, we'll give you that 3 year $60M deal you want, no problem. And just like that you're back to square one.
