I hate to say it but it's embarrassing. Traded away our last link to winning the Series 3 years ago.

Sure some of those guys might be great someday, but all they are right now is potential. And I'm not sure I have faith in the Nats to develop that potential.

The glory days are gone, that's for sure.

It's fucking embarrassing that the Lerners have let all of our young talent walk - the only one they managed to retain was Strasburg, who signed at a discount and then renegotiated after the Series win and his contract has been killing us ever since.
