Caps need to think about trading anything that isn't nailed down. Their front office is making head scratching decisions too. I like Strome and I am not against the signing but why do we have Connor McMichael still at Hershey? The back log at center is absurd. Yeah they are going nowhere fast it seems. I would say tear it down but one of Ovi's contract stipulations when he resigned was that they field a competitive team that can compete for titles. Well now they maxed out their cap and have a barely competitive team.

I am very unimpressed with Lavi's ability to develop young players. It would be hard to watch if Ovi wasn't chasing scoring titles (current situation notwithstanding).
